Every now and then we get special visits from our kiddos...especially from Kenzie because she likes to see us...and, let's be honest, get away from the city. She did just that this fall in the beginning of October, October 6th to be exact.
She came and saw us and we went and hiked and enjoyed the mountains and the beautiful fall colors of the southwest.
She came with us to Lemon and paddle boarded while we rowed.
We saw a tarantula...fall is the migration of the tarantulas and so sometimes we get real close up with our friends. I think tarantulas are pretty cool spiders.
And then she left us to return back to school. That's what they do, our kiddos, they leave. And every now and then they leave us with cute selfies on our phones so we can miss them less when they are gone.
