He was the headless horseman. Brad has this thing that he makes all who want to be the headless horseman wear a real pumpkin. Then when their neck gets too tired holding up the pumpkin, the trick-or-treating is over.
Ben dressed up this year for school as Napolean Dynamite.
It was a pretty easy look for him to achieve. We really wanted Riley to dress up as Pedro which would have been perfect but he didn't want to because they attend different schools and he didn't think anyone would get his costume. I told him to take a picture of his brother Ben and it would all make sense, but he's a little too cool for school, you know 8th grade and all.
Kenzie dressed up as a river rafter but I didn't get a picture :(
If you can see from the pictures above we got our counter tops in. A much needed improvement on the plywood counter tops we've been using. I am very pleased with the way everything came together. My kitchen looks great!
Kenzie's play, The Little Mermaid opens this coming Friday, November 8th. They got some pictures in the newspaper of her as Ursula and her best friend, Anna, as Ariel.
Also just a cool picture from our family walk we enjoyed together last Sunday. Not very many days left that we can enjoy a nice fall afternoon like this one. Winter gave us a preview this week and I'm not looking forward to it.
Also boys got in a moto yesterday with Brad. Always a good time in the desert together.
