Moab

Brad and the boys took a trip to Moab recently.  They did a hike with the church youth group.  (Mckenzie was unable to go due to being a dumb girl).

There are secret water holes high above the desert floor hidden on red sandstone buttes.  When they got there apparently the holes were mostly dry because of the fall season so no swimming.  Instead,  Jordan stood over this water hole and waited for his dads favorite hat (which he was borrowing) to blow in. 

Naturally he knew he had to risk all to save dads hat.  Once he got in the hole he found out he could not get back out with wet shoes.  Dad let him try for a good amount of time, then beg to be rescued.

Eventually a rope had to be thrown in.  The other boys thought it looked like so much fun they decided to try it too.

But the main event was/were the rides before and after the youth hike.  The box canyon below has been one of dads favorite places to take pictures for 20 years.  It was a special moment to be there with the boys. 

Stanley claims to have seen this very spot 20ft deep with flash flood waters raging through it

Jordan gets tired and whiskey throttles his bike off a 12ft cliff!!!  He nearly died, but then didn't.

Dad had a good head-on at ten mile, Jordan came around the corner just in time to see the collision and dad doing his best superman impression flying head first over the fool that crashed into him.  Sorry, no pictures on that one.
