Some happenings this week:  

Jakey and Riley started wrestling.  Jake has started his wrestling notebook to be just like his brother, Ben.  I think this is so cute.

My carpet is in and it looks so good!

 Kenzie is rebelling against all things school and has declared she will have 200 absences this semester because Aspen won't work with her schedule.  (She had 100 absences last semester and still got straight As).  To be honest, they have her in the wrong classes, like college algebra readiness, classes she can pass with her eyes closed but that they want her to take because even though she has enough credits they want all seniors to take a math class.  She probably will have 200 absences and still get straight As.  

It's been pretty warm here but still freezing at night so our driveway is an icy mess.  Brad's tractor isn't working well, yes he bought a tractor and yes I think it's sexy.  Ha! Ha!  Riley said to Kenzie coming down the driveway the other day that without Dad's tractor the driveway is getting out of control!!!  Dad replied, "Oh, like it always is in the winter?"  He and I remember too well the bumper cart car game we played with the snowmobile trailer a few years back on New Years.

The kids went skiing together on Monday.  Kenzie says she likes skiing with Ben the best because he waits for her and feeds her chocolate on the life rides up.  

Ben took fifth yesterday in Page tournament. 

Yesterday Brad and Riles went back country skiing 

while Kenzie, Jake and I skiied at the resort.  It actually was a very pleasant day.  Temperatures in the 40s and soft snow.  Such a good day Jake was all tuckered out when we got home.
