We went mountain biking and biking a lot:
Enjoyed a lot of beautiful sunsets.
Watched Jake perform music in front of live audiences....so cool!
Boated (on the river and lake), kayaked, hiked, hung out talking, had visitors, rock climbed, went to wedding receptions, and enjoyed every bit of sunshine and company that we could. Oh and we did that all while working full time jobs too.
Summer is over and school has begun....tried to get a first day picture of Jake...but this is all I got, right before he lifted weights because he has a free first...how does that work? None of my kids had that before...does he just smile and get his way? Maybe. But not with me. This is typical for me.
After a full summer with everyone at home during certain times...the house sure seems quiet (and a little too big) with just the three of us.
