Should the need ever arise

How to get a Cow out of your yard
By:  McKenzie
1.  Locate the cow by listening and smelling.  Cows stink and they moo loudly.  So the closer you get the louder they moo and the stronger the stench.

2.  Find three people to help you.  These must be people who are not afraid of cows and don't mind the stench.
(Don't they just look so tough!)

3.  Locate the place the cow got in.  The place usually is a part in the fence where a board fell away because a cow rubbed against it or a big opening in a barbed wire fence.

4.  With your friends help, herd the cow to that place.  Put one person on each side of the cow and two walk behind the cow clapping and tapping the cow lightly with a stick.  The cow will usually move forward with these movements.

5.  Keep calm and herd the cow through the fence.  If you yell and scream at the cow,  the cow will run away from you.

6.  Fix the place the cow got in.  You can do this by placing new barbed wire over the wire hole or by putting up a new board where the cow rubbed against the fence.

Take it away Jake!

For those of you who don't know I love, love, LOVE musicals.  I buy/download the soundtracks and listen to them constantly while cleaning or just as a pick me up.  Here's one selection by Jake from Hello Dolly!
Riley also pipes in at the end to help him finish right.
