Moab, Fall 2011

Jordan loves hanging with the "big boys"

He strives to emulate his Jedi Master, starting with a great pose

The Master himself at work demonstrating a natural but formidable pose.

Jordan goes where the master goes and follows the strict inctructions, "Put her in 1st and pin it!!"
But the young paduan fails to fully grasp the subtle nuances of

too much traction

and too little traction.

But then sometimes he fails to follow instructions and he steers left toward the 100 foot cliff just out of the frame so other Jedis along for the ride have to sprint after him to save him from certain death and redirect him to the right because he is drawn by the darkside, aka gravity.   The ways of the force are new to him.

He strives to become a great Jedi rider like his father before him who never crashes but is always smooth and graceful when he climbs up little hills.

The young paduan warrior wants to trust in the ways of the force but has his doubts since the Master has stranded them out in the forest at night before.  He really begins to worry when he asks the Master where they are and the Master responds, "I don't really know son, but we probably better figure it out before the sun goes down and it starts snowing again."   Jordan hopes the force really is strong with the Master so it will lead them back to the truck.  The Master has somewhat of a wandering spirit and likes to get everyone lost.
